Oreo Dirt Cake

When we have a birthday or holiday celebration (usually simultaneously), someone always request a Dirt Cake.


Crust Ingredients:

Crush 1 pkg. Oreo cookies until fine (son #4 likes double stuff, but original makes better crust). Place 1/2 of the crumbs into the bottom of a 9" x 13" pan.



Filling Ingredients:

1/4 stick margarine

1 cup powdered sugar

1- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (softened)

1- 8 oz. pkg. whipped topping (thawed)

2 sm. boxes instant vanilla pudding

3 1/2 cups milk



Beat margarine, powdered sugar, cream cheese, and whipped topping together until smooth.

Mix milk with vanilla pudding, stir until thickens up a little. Add to first mixture.

Pour over Oreo crust and top with remaining Oreo crumbs.

Chill for at least 1 hour.
